PtEverywhere Gives Back to the Community

PtEverywhere sponsors WSSU PT Charity Golf Tournament

Benefits WSSU Professional Development Fund and MSFit Foundation

WINSTON-SALEM, NC, October 13, 2018 – PtEverywhere is delighted to announce a sponsorship role with Winston-Salem State University’s Department of Physical Therapy. This year’s sponsorship benefits both the WSSU Professional Development Fund and the MSFit Foundation.

“Our mission with PtEverywhere is to advance the physical therapy profession, and a vital part of that is supporting the next generation of physical therapists,” said Jonathan Davis, Marketing Director at PtEverywhere. “In addition to the WSSU Department of Physical Therapy Professional Development Fund, we are also supporting the Multiple Sclerosis Fit Foundation – which provides free fitness and wellness programs to our neighbors dealing with the most common disabling neurological disease of young adults in our country.”

Proceeds from the 5th Annual Charity Golf Tournament will support the efforts of the MSFit Foundation and fund the costs for physical therapy students to attend conferences for personal and professional development. This year’s tournament was hosted by the Reynolds Park Golf Course in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

“We are honored to receive the support of PtEverywhere for our 5th Annual Charity Golf Tournament,” said event coordinator Kiaana Howard, PT student at Winston-Salem State University. “This is an important event, for a number of reasons, and it’s so valuable to have an organization who promotes the professional growth of physical therapy students and shares our vision for helping and healing others in our community.”
